The White House is asking Congress to approve an $87.6 billion emergency supplemental spending package to cover military operations, international humanitarian needs, and support U.S. farmers. The proposal, submitted Wednesday by the Office of Management and Budget, is centered on funding costs associated with Operation Epic Fury, the U.S. military campaign targeting Iran’s nuclear program, and U.S. military infrastructure.
