WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump welcomed Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to the White House on May 7 to discuss trade and regional security matters. The leaders are expected to hold a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office, followed by a lunch in the Cabinet Room. “They will discuss economic and security matters of shared importance,” a White House official told The Epoch Times. The meeting has been in the works since both leaders spoke on the phone in January. This will be the third time the leaders have met in person and their second formal bilateral meeting.
